DeathNote Netflix Film is a Biggest Disappointment all in all (Review)



Disclaimer: I have an assumption that you have watched Deathnote Anime & Movie both.

So the much anticipated and long awaited movie of all the Anime, as well as TV-Series fan, was out on 25th August 2017. Deathnote was available on Netflix and I knew somewhere it was going to disappoint me all in all but still I wanted to give it a try.

For the People who don't know about Deathnote, Please read the next couple of lines for that.
The 108 chapters Manga written by Tsugami Ohba and Takeshi Obata was published in August 2006 which was followed by the 37 episodes anime series which came to the top chart because of its brilliant story line character setup. It was a gripping tale about morality, justice and violence for the cause of justice.

The Deathnote adaptation by Netflix failed big time. The movie was not even able to show the 20% story of what it was there in the anime.

If I had a deathnote, I would have written my name on it after watching the movie.

To all the disaster which was there in the movie, Let me try to quote some below.

Here are my thoughts on what was wrong with the movie


  1. It was seriously stupid of attempting a big chunk of the story line and compressing it into the movie of not more than 90 minutes.
  2. The character setup for Light Yagami was poles apart from what it was there in the anime. This English dude was more of a guy to show sympathy and pity, unlike the anime Light which was one of his kind.
  3. I was really shocked to see that the setup was moved to America instead of it being in Japan, Well obviously what else will you expect if it is copied by Netflix.
  4. They chopped out the story about second Kira (Misa Amane) which was played by Mia who was fascinated with what Light had been doing with the Deathnote.
    The movie character setup for Mia was like,
    Light: 'Hey Mia, guess what I got a book on which if I write a name then that person will die.
    Mia: ' Oh fuck, Is that so? That's so cool, can I also join in the killing spree.
  5. The character setup for L was another disaster, The story line actually was kind of messy. The way he showed his face to Light. Oh! Come on.
  6. What about the Death of character L? Obviously, they couldn't have accumulated that par to of the story.
  7. The only thing which I liked about the movie was that somehow they were able to copy the character of Reeyuk. But obviously, that wasn't enough to save the show.

All in all this movie was an epic failure for all the anime fans out there. If you are thinking about watching this movie then please just watch is like any other movie. Request you to don't even think that it is any way close to the anime or the anime story line.

Do justice to Anime. Watch the Anime instead of the Shitty Movie.

7 Steps to fight depression




Lately, you have started showing less interest in work and more in distress, Your mood swings are taking a hold of your behaviour and you are not able to understand how to handle that. You get irritated at situations which are not even worth your attention.

Guess what, You are suffering from mental health disorder which has more than 10 million cases per year in India.

Here is what Google has to say about Depression 

The persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest that characterises major depression can lead to a range of behavioural and physical symptoms. These may include changes in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behaviour or self-esteem. Depression can also be associated with thoughts of suicide.

With that, this is what my views are for Suicide, If you have not read the post try reading Suicide Problem: Is it the end or the beginning of new LIFE?

Ever tried searching for a way to test your depression?

With the increasing count of people suffering from depression, Google in USA has launched a feature in which if a person is going to search for 'Depression' on google. Then the search giant will give an option to the user to "check if they're clinically depressed." 

Google said the initiative was developed in partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

Well, it is certainly not a new feature which is launched there are n numbers of websites which offer you ways to test the depression.

There are set of 20 questions which you need to answer in order to check your result. At present, it may seem to you that only a sick would attempt such thing but yes, this state is all about sickness.


Here are the things which I tried to keep myself engaged and fight with the feeling of depression. Let me know if this seems helpful to you.

1) You need to get into a routine: Plan your day accordingly so that you don't find time to stroll around the feeling of distress. 

2)  You need to set your goals: Since the feeling of distress changes the way your think and you lose your self-confidence. You need to come up with the daily goals which will keep you at least a bit motivated to achieve that.

3)  You need to get enough sleep: Depression can make it hard for you to sleep but sleeping less can make your depression worse. So somehow you need to find a way to close your eyes and rest.

4)  You need to eat healthy: If you are a person like me who skips its lunch/dinner in a situation of distress then I will suggest you avoid that and eat healthy.

5) You need to challenge your negative thoughts: You fight against depression is all mental in that case you have to change the way you are thinking and approaching a problem. You have to think & rethink a particular situation in all the way possible. It will wider your thoughts reach and give you an unexplored angle to the problem which you might have not discovered.

6)  You need to believe in yourself: The best what you can do to yourself is believing in the fact that you will be able to carry yourself out from the situation in which you are in at present. If it's a fight against the mental state then all it takes is faith belief and positive attitude towards problem to get over something dreadful.

7)  You need to find something creative to do: This is certainly related to the point where you keep yourself engaged but finding something creative to do will let you engage your mind in learning something new to do & if you are able to develop interest into what you are trying then the positive state of mind is not far away from your reach.

It might sound strange but you have to work on your thoughts for having fun. You will not be able to overcome depression just by sitting and thinking all sort of things in your negative approach, you will have to fight your way out of the situation. Plan things which you loved doing even if they feel like a chore. Keep in touch with people you share your life, keep in touch with your friend, Avoid the thought of being alone. Don't let the void find a place in your heart. 

When you're depressed, you can lose the knack for enjoying life, You have to relearn how to do it.

What is Blue Whale Dare challenge game?



So this is something which took me by surprise one morning. When I read the news that :
One-seventh standard kid attempted to end his life in order to just complete some stupid dare of the game.

Finally, we have a game out there in the market from the Russian's also known as  "Blue Whale Challenge". 

Similar to the Hollywood movie Nerve released in 2016, This is a sick "Suicide" game where one has to complete the challenges assigned to them.

The game allegedly consists of a series of tasks assigned to players by administrators during a 50-day period, with the final challenge requiring the player to commit suicide. 

The terrifying online craze is said to have claimed more than 130 lives in Russia, where it is suspected to have originated. The game has now found followers in UK, apart from Portugal, Brazil and Dubai. Schools abroad are sending advisories to parents to put a strict watch on what their children are downloading.

The app brainwashes the children in such a way that all they feel like is completing the challenges. The game begins with fairly basic tasks but continually increases in magnitude to tasks such as cutting one's vein killing an animal and finally the last stage of the app i.e. 50th challenge is all about killing yourself.

Each task also needs to be photographed or videotaped, so the administrators have proof of completion and authenticity, including the final suicide.

The 22-year-old creator of this app Philipp quoted some insane thing Budeikin claimed that the psychological manipulation he was administrating was intended to make the 'victims' happy. He said he was giving them the warmth and understanding that they didn't get in their lives.
His motives for driving them to suicide were far less empathetic though.

  • Philipp Budeikin the 22-year-old creator of the game, was sentenced to 3 years in jail for inciting Russian youths to kill themselves
  • To play the game, Budeiki would select people he considered weak enough to be manipulated.
  • Budeiki said he pushed teenagers to suicide intentionally. 
  • Budeikin "There are people - and there is a biological waste. Those who do not represent any value for society. Who cause or will cause only harm to society. I was cleaning our society of such people", Budeikin said during the interview with Saint Petersburg News.

If you are a parent, I request you to take a quick glance on your kid's cell phone and make sure that they are not engaged in such an activity.

The cases on this are increasing every passing day. All we can do to avoid this is that being vigilant about this.
